Figurative Intaglio Prints
Home

In 1986 I obtained a BA degree  from Cal -State University,
Fullerton; studying photography, printmaking and oil
painting.  I went on to study stone sculpture, and ceramics.
After having worked in a variety of mediums over the past 25
years, I have found that one medium lends itself to another,
and one piece gives birth to another.  I feel I can relay an
energy or a state of being through my work that cannot be
expressed in words.
I live and work in Los Angeles ,California.  I am influenced
by many aspects of the city; including, the energy, the rhythm,
the textures, and the continuous rectangular shapes; ranging
from the buildings to the billboards. Along with all of this
external stimuli,I find fascinating the internal isolation one
can feel living among so many unknown faces, and  how these
two polar opposites can coexists side by side in ones psyche. I
try to relay this through the work.
